The Kingdom of Mathematicm by Bridget Hart-Kenney, Joseph M. Hart and Kayla Kenney

The Kingdom of Mathematicm is having problems. King Cole, Princess Kyla, and Luke the Duke, as well as the reader, work together as a team, to help solve the kingdom’s seven tales of: measurement, number sense, patterns, shapes, addition, subtraction, position words, and subitizing. As a Kindergarten teacher, Bridget wanted to create stories that would invite children into the world of math at an early age. Her daughter, Kyla, and her father, Joseph, also helped illustrate the book. You may recognize these names as the authors of Papa Paint Me A Picture and Papa’s Past. Joseph grew up in Charlestown, and Bridget would spend her days in Charlestown making memories with her grandparents. They have a goal of preserving Charlestown’s history through their writing and storytelling.
