Puffins are one of the UK's most endangered birds and are included on the Red list of UK Birds of Conservation Concern. Puffins are particularly vulnerable as they breed on only a small number of sites and any adverse changes in those environments have a huge impact on their population. We’ve seen lots of children’s jackets in our time, so we know exactly what it takes. Our jackets are designed to meet the needs of children, and include a number of clever little features that we believe really makes the difference. Children love to run, jump, splash and even roll around on the floor, so we’ve designed our jacket to have a longer line at the back. This means little bottoms will be well-protected and your child’s back won’t be exposed as they bend and stretch. Fully taped seams, an elasticated hood and cuffs, plus a full-length waterproof zip provide a comfy fit while ensuring that every single drop of rain is kept out. Certified to 10,000mm, our rain jacket will stubbornly refuse to let any water in at all, even in the heaviest shower. But a good jacket needs to be breathable too, because all that exploring can be hot work! Our breathable membranes ensure that your child won’t end up sweaty and sticky, giving you the best of both worlds. The inner is made from jersey that’s as soft as a cloud, while the outer fabric is recycled polyester. Our Eco Bionic-Finish® waterproof technology is fluorine-free, an eco-friendly choice that doesn’t compromise on quality. Fold it up into its own pocket and pop it in your bag whenever you leave the house and you’ll never have to rush in from the rain again!
